Our Mission
When I created @Frumi13, it started with a singular mission: You are not alone. Not alone in what happened, how it affects your life today, and that difficulty sometimes in feeling normal.
The mission evolved to sitting in that dark space, energetically together, and when you felt ready - to empower your journey. To show you the many beautiful lives available to you, and the one that I built for myself.
I sought that gift you hold, that you may not even believe exists - and yet we each have one. Our work based around how to protect it, understand it, and develop it.
For a long time the world shaped us into places that did not always serve. We get to decide whether we will stay there or create into the world - giving our contribution.
Frumi was about you, and me, and everyone. What I came to realize, is that there are many stories that are universal - and then some that are ours. I wondered about those stories, living in South Asia, and still alienated from a sense of true culture.
Desi Therapy is about reclaiming our heritage. It's not about how things used to be, or what people say it should be. It's about how we want to create it for ourselves, keeping in mind the many lives lived, so we can stand in our shoes.
It can feel like no one gets it, because they haven't been in both worlds. At Desi Therapy, we offer the best therapeutic tools from around the globe, held by someone that shares a similar history - someone that looks like you.
